help us improve our work environment in our india offices. the red hat global workplace solutions (gws) team is looking for an associate manager, facilities operations to join us in pune, india. in this role, you'll manage all aspects of space management and service delivery, focusing primarily on facility management and operations. you will supervise facilities operations associates and develop a team that supports corporate initiatives, asset management, and operations. you'll oversee all aspects of facility management for pune and mumbai locations along with the service delivery, focusing primarily on managing and providing direction and guidance to the team to meet and exceed organizational and client needs.
**primary job responsibilities**
+ build business relationships with key stakeholders ensuring communication and business functioning at optimum levels and enable a productive safe working environment within our offices
+ manage all vendor and supplier relationships and bids (hvac, transport, security guards etc.)
+ plan, forecast, and manage budget within designated offices for operational and capital budget within compliance
+ serve as a liaison for major maintenance and repair issues between building, property management, and outside vendors
+ lead office improvement projects (refurbishment and new builds) and resolve space challenges, space planning, and use of studies
+ perform regular inspection of office and meeting rooms ensuring facilities is working effectively
+ develop business relationships and partnerships with corporate real estate partner for brokerage and leasing projects
+ implement gws initiatives for local office, including global or regional programs as mandated by law or guidelines (e.g. safety warden program, ergonomics, snack and drink program, isaac, bcp etc).
+ lead all workplace health, safety, and environmental initiatives, including global or regional programs as mandated by law or policy
+ bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
+ 15+ years of related experience
+ exceptional customer-service skills, with high performance in delivering premium customer service
+ excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional business appearance at all times
+ high attention to detail and advanced skills in developing systems and processes for smooth office operations
+ motivated with the ability to work with little direct supervision in a fast-paced corporate environment; good time and task management skills
